In this course students will study economic theory on a micro level. Students will examine the short run and long run behaviour of firms using marginal analysis. In this course students will study economic theory on a macro level. Students will study market failure and the response of government intervention in relation to market failure. In particular students will study the positive and negative externalities of resource allocation in the economy. A major focus of this course is on aggregate economics, including aggregate demand and supply.
