Content:

This course concentrates on wide personal reading, close reading and novel study, expressive writing, PAT testing, library use and grammar work. Public speaking and research work will also be covered in this semester. This semester is focussed on the importance of reading and establishing a reading culture among students.

ENGLISH 02 (ENGL02)

Content:

This course covers personal and formal writing, producing a children’s book, research, film study, short story study, and grammar work. This semester concentrates on writing and completing an NCEA internally assessed standard.
