Content:

Build your knowledge and learn to use Digital Media – a teacher guided course to allow students to negotiate a degree of choice.

NZQA Internal Assessment:

AS 91073 (v1) Implement basic procedures to produce a specified digital media outcome. - 4 credits

Content:

Adolescent Nutrition: National Education Guidelines, nutrients in food, meal planning for teenagers, healthy cooking methods Practical food preparation for hungry teenagers.
Baking Breads & Doughs: A range of baking and food preparation skills using a variety of recipes.

This course allows students to build upon their previous experience and develop a portfolio of skill based achievements, using research and design tools and methods.

TEXTILES 11 (TEXT11)

Content:

Plan and implement skills and procedures to produce a fashion item. Apply essential techniques used in the textile industry which reflects the image and needs of your client.

TEXTILES 12 (TEXT12)

Content:

Learn design techniques, plan and manufacture a garment to demonstrate knowledge of technological practices, equipment and materials.

AS 91045 (v1) Use planning tools to guide the technological development of an outcome to address a brief. - 4 credits
